Who are Rooted Sessions for?
Rooted Sessions are for anyone who wants to preserve meaningful connection across generations. Whether it’s with your mother, grandmother, child, chosen family, or an elder in your life — these sessions are designed to honor your relationships and create legacy images you’ll treasure for years to come.

Can I bring heirlooms or other meaningful objects to my session?
Absolutely — and I encourage it! You’re welcome to bring items like photo albums, heirlooms, handwritten letters, quilts, jewelry, recipes, or anything else that tells your family’s story. These personal details add incredible depth and meaning to your images.
Are pets welcome?
Pets are welcome for Lifestyle Legacy Experiences — I’m an animal lover and would love to meet them and include them in your in-home session!
For studio-based Heirloom and Heritage Experiences, pets are not permitted in the studio. If you'd like to include them, the Lifestyle Legacy Experience is the perfect option.
Can we include extended family members in a Lifestyle Legacy Experience?
No — Lifestyle Legacy Experiences are intentionally designed for immediate family only. These are intimate, story-driven sessions, not large extended family photo sessions. If you're looking for an extended family session, this would not be the right fit.
